Press Information

The UMD Global Conference 2011 aims to unite friends of Macedonia and the Macedonian Diaspora community around the world. The two-and-a-half-day conference is filled with events promoting advocacy, education, fun and networking with prominent leaders in many disciplines.

The press has an opportunity to attend the conference and interview guests, in order to provide their audience with the most current worldwide happenings as they relate to Macedonia.

FREE Press Badge will be given to all qualified press representatives registered for conference.

Qualification Criteria

Please review the following information on how to qualify for a complimentary press badge.

Reporter/Editor
Reporters and editors are required to provide a business card with an editorial title and a current masthead that includes their name and a copy of a bylined article published in the last six months.

 

Online Publications/Online News Services
Reporters and editors from online publications or news services must provide a copy of their business card with an editorial title, plus a copy printed from their website of a bylined article published in the last six months, or provide a link to the article so it can be viewed. The content of the website must be relevant to the event.

 

TV/Radio
Broadcast reporters and producers for news organizations must provide a business card and proof of assignment. Camera/sound crews must provide a proof of assignment.

 

Freelance Writers and Authors
Freelance writers and authors must provide a letter of assignment and a bylined article published within the last six months. Authors must be under contract and provide a letter from their publisher.
